About The Photographer

About Glenda Christina:

My photography passion all started when I chose photography as my career center choice in high school, from then on I was literally captivated with it.

I got my first Canon 30D back in 2007 and I loved the pictures but I desired that pro look that I would see  in magazines, ads and such. I  noticed a big difference between my photos and theirs. I always had ‘the eye’ but needed the schooling to be a real professional. When I found out about custom portraiture , my life was nothing but studying online for months on end. I learned how to shoot in manual and finally got the look I had been drooling at.  I then shifted all my training and applied it to nature photography back in 2009, and it has been my zest in life ever since.

Wildlife and scenery is my greatest passion and I have been blessed with work at McDonalds lobbies in both Wasilla and Anchorage locations. I have been published in the 2010 MTA calendar, and have 2 more photos chosen for  the 2012 Calendar and I just found out  one of my photos will be on the cover of the local phone book for 2012!

I also have 3 photos published in the Alaska Magazine.  I have some of my work for sale at a couple of local shops, and I thank God for all of this and doing what I love to do.
